How do I make an appointment?
Book online, or call 03 8373 7580 to speak to our friendly patient onboarding team. You can also email clinic@trueleaf.au, send us a message, or pop into the store during opening hours.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book a consult directly with us.
How much do consults cost?
In-clinic consults start at $47 out of pocket after the Medicare rebate.
Telehealth consults start at $79, with no Medicare rebate.
Can I get a Medicare rebate?
Yes, for in-person consults. Rebates of 45-60% are available for face to face appointments to eligible Medicare card holders, and are paid automatically into the account you have on file with Medicare.
Medicare rebates do not apply to telehealth consults.
In clinic or telehealth?
If you can make it into our clinic, we always recommend this as the best option. Telehealth consults are by phone, and Medicare rebates do not apply to them.
Do I need to live in Melbourne to become a patient?
No. Trueleaf offers Australia-wide telehealth consultations, so patients in any state can see one of our practitioners and have their prescription filled through our onsite dispensary.
Is trueleaf for me?
Our health professionals will assess your circumstances to determine if our services are appropriate for you. In Australia, medicinal cannabis is only available with a prescription.
Is medicinal cannabis legal in Australia?
Yes, with a prescription. It can be prescribed through Special Access Scheme arrangements with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), a process that has been in place since 2016.
What if I need to cancel?
Please call us as soon as possible. Cancellations more than 24 hours before your appointment are fully refundable. Cancellations under 24 hours are only 50% refundable. No shows are not refundable.

Can you fill my existing prescription?
Yes, from any prescriber, as long as your script is current and valid. If it isn't, we can book you in with one of our practitioners to renew it.
How do I send my eScript?
Email your eScript token to dispensary@trueleaf.au, or call us on 03 8373 7580.
Can I get my medicine on the same day?
Yes. Our onsite dispensary offers same-day collection or express postage, so you can collect your prescription right after your consult.

Where is the clinic?
Trueleaf is at 314-316 Chapel Street, Prahran, in Victoria. We also offer nationwide telehealth and delivery.
